    This vintage real photo postcard features a portrait of a beautiful young woman. She is well dressed and her ensemble includes strings of pearls as well as a very large hair bow. What is the purpose of the hair bow. I believe that this hair accessory communicates youth and innocence, resulting in increased attractiveness of the model. The card is color tinted and from the early 1900's. This vintage portrait postcard is in very good condition (scans).
